  • Preventing Workplace Harassment
    This 2-day workshop teaches participants about dealing with sexual harassment in the workplace. Participants will define sexually harassing behavior, and discuss the costs as well as the psychological, health-related, and career-related effects of sexual harassment. Workshop activities include examining the laws against, and the liabilities of, sexual harassment, identifying verbal and nonverbal behaviors, and making an effort to prevent sexual harassment. Participants will also learn about having a sexual harassment policy, responding appropriately to an employee being harassed and to the accused, and identifying the repercussions of sexual harassment in an organization.
  • Stress Circus: How to become the Ringmaster of a Balanced Life
    Does your life feel like a circus, with too much going on all at once...and the animals are in charge? Learn proven strategies for managing stress and having more balance, fun and peace in your life in our 2-day program.

    The course also includes 30 days of follow-up coaching with the instructor. Each participant will receive 4, thirty-minute, one-on-one phone calls with instructor, James, to review their personal stress plan and to provide support and accountability.

    Today’s workforce is experiencing job burnout and stress in epidemic proportions. Workers at all levels feel stressed out, insecure, and misunderstood. Many people feel the demands of the workplace, combined with the demands of home, have become too much to handle. This one day workshop explores the causes of such stress, and suggests general and specific stress management strategies that people can use every day.
  • Teamwork: Building Better Teams
    This one-day course will guide participants to define what a “team” is and the different kinds of teams there are. We will look at some of the benefits and pitfalls of team work. Participants will also discuss establishing team norms or ground rules that can be used to help teams work together.
