Project Management Skills
The Project Management Skills class is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of project planning and management while learning to use MS Project for tracking the activities of projects. Students will identify the features and attributes of a project, determine the actions involved in scope planning, and understand the components of time management. Students will engage in activities to plan and focus on a project, as well as, outcomes of the project.
Throughout the class, students will learn how to use Microsoft Project to create and manage tasks, work with the critical path, use baselines, track progress and evaluate data. Focusing on the generally accepted practices of project management recognized by the Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI®), this course offers you a standards-based approach to successful project management across application areas and industries.
Study materials and PMI testing preparation information will be provided at the end of the class for those who want to become certified in the Project Manager Professional (PMP) which is the certification available through the Project Management Institute (PMI)

MS Project Advanced Understanding
This class will provide the in-depth understanding to better use Microsoft Project more effectively. The basic concepts will be expanded to maximum capacity. Complicated concepts will be explained to the necessary level for better comprehension.
The project creation portion of the class rapidly covers the introductory topics providing alternate methods, shortcuts, results, and the most commonly used techniques. The “managing a project” portion of the class will explain how to adjust a schedule and status an existing schedule to keep track of progress. We will also look into some of the more unknown features to manage multiple projects and share resources. Finally, we will learn how to customize fields and views to better manage projects.

MS Project Level 1
This class will teach the fundamental skills necessary to create and manage jobs of any size in Microsoft Project. Students will learn how to work with the critical path, use baselines, assign tasks, and set milestones to track progress. Students are given the opportunity to create and troubleshoot a project from start to finish in one of our hands-on case studies. The class is suited for both Project 2003 and Project 2007 students as the differences between the products are minimal.

MS Project Level 2
Once you have acquired the knowledge to create and edit projects, enhance it by learning to manage multiple projects at the same time. The Project 102 class builds on the foundations of MS Project 101 to help you improve your skills and be a more efficient and successful project manager. You will also learn how to use various features to customize projects. The class is suited for both Project 2003 and Project 2007 students as the differences between the products are minimal.
