The following classes are available

Word 2003 101: Editing & Formatting
This class will help students learn about creating, editing and saving documents; basic document formatting features, spell check, tabs and more. Create a document using templates is a quick method to generate a new document. Learning the different viewing layouts and methods of navigating will increase your productivity. Saving a document seems simple, but it can be saved in different formats and has the ability to password-protect a saved document. Students will learn different formatting features such as Character, paragraph, page and style formatting. They will learn how to establish tabs, fix bullets and change the number structure of lists. Finally, students will learn how to adjust printed documents.

Word 2003 102: Tables & Formatting
Students will learn a variety of intermediate formatting skills including use of section breaks, customizing headers and footers, setting up newsletter style documents, working with templates and wizards. Students will also learn to create, edit and format tables in documents.

Word 2003 103: Merge, Macros, Forms & More
Learn to manage the tasks of creating merge letters, labels, envelopes or catalogs. Also learn to create and edit macros, create customized forms, import data into a Word document and customize Word features for easier use. Protection will allow you to protect the entire document or specific features of a document. Some graphic elements will be covered such as charts and the use of diagrams.

Word 2003 104: Styles,Templates & Long Documents
This class will cover the proper use of Styles and Templates. If you share documents with others you can use the tracking revisions feature to allow the tracking of all changes made to the document. One of the goals of the class is to create a long document, or book, and use styles to generate a table of contents, index, footnots, and endnotes.

Migrating to Word 2007
This 90-minute ExecuTrain Express course is designed for current Word users who are migrating to Word 2007. Class participants will learn how to use new features in Word 2007 to create and format documents more quickly. Participants will also learn how to utilize Word 2007’s new document review features to finalize documents prior to distribution. Students should take this class, which focuses specifically on Word’s new features, after taking the Migrate to Office 2007 course.

Word 2007: Level 1 - Editing & Formatting Documents
Students will explore the many basic formatting features of Microsoft Word and will learn to create, edit and save basic Word documents. In class exercises include working with text and paragraphs; inserting and formatting tables; working with symbols and graphics; and using Word's proofreading features.
