Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) Exams:

The following are the steps needed to take the exam:

1. Purchase the ExecuTrain certification class series
2. Schedule to take the required classes related to the certification series.
3. After you finish the class call 800-305-3855 or email CustomerService@Executrainwest.com and request a MeasureUp license. Executrain will purchase exam practice material from MeasureUp when you purchase all the certification classes.
4. After you finish the class call 800-305-3855 or email CustomerService@Executrainwest.com and request a voucher number. Executrain will provide up to 2 vouchers to take the exam. Note: All Microsoft MCTS Certification is taken exclusively with Thompson Prometric Authorized Test Centers. Contact Prometric directly to schedule the exam.

Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist (MCAS) Exams:

The following are the steps needed to take the exam:

1. Purchase the desired Certification class and schedule the course. You must purchase the certification class on our web and purchasing the individual classes will now validate you for this certification program.
2. Schedule the required classes related to the certification series.
3. ExecuTrain will send you a certification book and it will be delivered directly to the student.
4. When you are ready to take the test, call Executrain at 800-305-3855 or email CustomerService@Executrainwest.com and request a voucher number.
5. Call the Certiport testing center directly. To find a testing center in your area, click here. Make sure that when you call the testing center that you specify that you are taking a Certiport test. This is because some Certiport testing centers are also Prometric and/or VUE testing centers which expect you to call the vendor to schedule a test. The testing center may charge you a proctoring fee to take the test. This fee will vary from center to center and is in addition to the test voucher fee. CompTIA Exams:

The following are the steps needed to take the exam:

1. Purchase the desired Certification class and schedule the course. You must purchase the certification class on our web and purchasing the individual classes will now validate you for this certification program.
2. Schedule the required classes related to the certification series.
3. After you finish the class call 800-305-3855 or email CustomerService@Executrainwest.com and request a MeasureUp license. Executrain will purchase exam practice material from MeasureUp when you purchase all the certification classes.
4. After you you have studied for the exam, call 800-305-3855 or email CustomerService@Executrainwest.com and request a voucher number. Executrain will provide up to 2 vouchers to take the exam. Note: For the CompTIA Certification exams, students may choose either Prometric or Pearson Vue.

Cisco Exams:

The following are the steps needed to take the exam:

1. Purchase the Executrain classes scheduled in our web site.
2. Schedule to take the required classes related to the certification series.
3. No exam vouchers are provided with the class price. Students will need to purchase the exam from Pearson/Vue directly. Cisco uses Pearson Vue as the exclusive certification testing vendor for all Cisco certification exams. For details, contact Pearson Vue. Refer to the Certification Agreements link to review requirements for program participation and instructions. Candidates who sit for Cisco exams must agree they have read and will abide by the terms and conditions of the Cisco Career Certifications and Confidentiality Agreement before beginning the certification exam.

Frequently asked Questions (FAQ) about taking exams:

What do I take with me to the testing center?
The test center admission process requires the capture of a digital photo and digital signature from each candidate in addition to two types of personal identification. Both types of identification must have the candidate's signature and one must be a government-issued photo identification.

What do I receive that proves I took and passed the exam?
Upon exam completion, each candidate receives a score report. Passing scores are set by using statistical analysis and are subject to change. Candidates may choose to share their score reports with an employer or other third parties. If there is evidence of misconduct, scoring inaccuracies, or irregular responses, an exam score may be revised anytime after testing.

What if I have been certified but need to become recertifed?
Certification status for exams will expire after a period of time. Candidates with a valid certification must pass an exam designated for recertification to keep their status and reminders will be sent via your email address. Candidates who fail an exam must wait a period of five (5) calendar days, beginning the day after the failed attempt, before they may retest for the same exam. Once passed, a candidate must wait a minimum of 180 days before taking the same exam with an identical exam number.

How do I purchase additional Certification Exam vouchers at a discount?
