We are now offering Web-based seminars on our public training schedule. Students can participate in LIVE training seminars from the comfort of their office or even their home! Our webinars are interactive – students will be able to view the training presentation over the internet, ask questions, test out software features, and also contact the instructor after the training presentation for follow-up questions.

Excel 2003 108: Macros - Webinar
This 2-hour webinar teaches Microsoft Excel users how to create and edit macros, use custom toolbars and buttons, and create their own macro buttons. This class will cover different techniques to develop macros and look at various ways to create the same macro. It will also touch on the Visual Basic editor, (the stored format of macros), to make basic changes to parameters. Students will have a better understanding of macros upon completion of this training session.

Excel 2003 109: Pivot Tables - Webinar
This two-hour Webinar will help students organize and analyze data using, Pivot tables and Pivot Charts. Pivot tables allow you to summarize and organize large databases into manageable and understandable reports. After the pivot table is created, it will be necessary to modify it to obtain the desired formatting and adjustments. This will also show how to manipulate complex pivot reports with drill-down capabilities, and build a dynamic pivot table reporting system.

Outlook 2007: Email Etiquette - Webinar
This 2-hour webinar teaches students how to use e-mail efficiently. Students will learn how to write effective messages and e-policies, as well as discover what names to avoid in the From, To, CC, BCC lines to prevent email from going to the Junk mail folder. Course activities also include using the subject line and how to use action phrases to encourage the recipient to read the email.

How long is a webinar?
All of our webinars have been broken down into two hour modules based the curriculum from our one-day instructor-led classes.

How do I register?
You may register online using our secure checkout option by selecting the training session of your choice from the list above and by completing the online registration process. You may also register over the phone by contacting our Customer Care department at (800) 305-3855.

How do I connect to the webinar training session?
Once you are registered, you will be sent detailed instructions for connecting to the webinar training session. Since our webinars are live, you will need to connect at the time the webinar is scheduled to take place in order to participate in the training.

What will I see during the webinar?
You will be able to view the instructor's computer screen throughout the training session. Please review the "What equipment/setup is required to participate in a webinar?" section below for more details regarding the various setup options.

Will I be able to ask the instructor questions?
Yes, you will be able to converse with the instructor as if you were in a typical classroom environment.

If I participate in an ExecuTrain Webinar, will I still benefit from an in-person class?
Yes, taking an in-person class would still be beneficial since our webinars only cover specific segments of our similar full-day classes.

What equipment/setup is required to participate in a webinar?
webinar participants have several setup options to choose from:

  • Individual Participant Setup (Single Computer) - A single desktop or laptop computer with access to the internet and either Windows Internet Explorer 6.0 or above is required. You may watch the ExecuTrain Webinar on your computer screen while in full-screen presentation mode or you may choose to decrease the size of the presentation screen in order to follow along with the exercises using the software installed on your computer.
  • Individual Participant Setup (Multiple Computers) - The same setup as listed in the above option is required; however, with access to two computers you may watch the Webinar presentation on one computer while performing the training exercises on the other.
  • Multiple Participant Setup - Either of the above setup options will be required for each participant; however, we are able to offer private Webinar sessions for groups. Please contact our Customer Care department for more information about scheduling a private webinar session for your group.
